My LandCruiser went into the workshop with a working hand throttle and came out with a broken one. I was told the throttle was broken and had to be fixed. It was obvious that the hand throttle was mistaken for a choke and the technician freaked out when the car went straight to redline and punched the hand throttle in instead of twisting and releasing as designed. I could forgive this as a hand throttle is not common these days, however my brake calipers started leaking 6 months after refurbishment by Pebco. On inspection, the dust boots were torn in a way common with forcing the pads in without fully retracting the pistons resulting in premature failure of the piston seal due to ingress of mud, dust and water. Also, the incorrect type and length caliper bolts were installed with double washers under the head. This is not acceptable for braking systems! I expect better from an inspection workshop. I sincerely hope this was the work of a new apprentice and the issues are now safely resolved.

I took my car to check an oil leek. At the end of the day, they called me telling that they don't fix that leek and that ALL the emergency lights were on. When I left it, I told them that happened when I washed the van underneath, thing they did again to find the leek and caused the lights to turn on again.At the end of the day, I had to pay for their work, even when they couldn't fix what I needed and they return the van with all emergency lights on...The extra star is because the pit inspection I did weeks earlier with them was good and fair.

After booking my car in for inspection, I started to read the varied reviews and started to second guess my decision.If I had to find a fault with PEBCO, it could only be that they were running 15 minutes behind.The waiting area was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and professional.

Pebco are the best. The service at Pebco is second to none. You can save a lot of money by getting the right job done first time. I found that the team at Pebco do the right thing every time.For instance, I had had two other mechanics look at my brakes, the one company said there was nothing wrong with them, but there was.A second company I went to, took money off me and said they'd done the brakes, but the brakes were still very bad?I gave it to Pebco and they finally did what really needed doing, which was actually a fair bit of work, but then my brakes were excellent.Good job too, that probably saved my life, because a P plater pulled out in front of me on a greasy road in wet weather, and I just had enough time to gently squeeze the brakes to avoid a T-bone collision.Safety is an important thing. Pebco give me good confidence in all they do.They do licence inspections and all things mechanical.Staff are excellent as are management. A can do attitude prevails. They are attentive to detail and get the job right first time.Do yourself a favour and give Pebco a try, you can relax knowing you are in safe hands.

The first PTV certificate was rejected by the Transport Department due to a mistake and they asked me to get new one but you guys charged me again $129.00, I already explained to the girl at your reception that it was your mistake and you should not charge me for the second time but she refused and asked me to pay again $129.00. By the way the second time you just added some missing information on the certificate and i have copy of the first and second certificate.ً no anyone cannot me

Dishonest or just using dodgy tools. I got my vehicle inspected and was correctly called out for fused bulbs. However, they failed a vehicle tint that has been on the car for 4 years and has been through a state inspection in VIC and WA most recently in 2021.I went to another workshop for a reinspection and using their tool they were able to pass the vehicle tint instantly. The tint was darkest legal and there was no way it should have failedTalks with my mates confirmed that Pebco should not have been my choice. I was short of time and had to go to my nearest inspection spot - so disappointed and caused so much unnecessary stress. Please look after your customers and be honest.

Great experiance with these guys. They were very helpful. Especially the lovely receptionist. Will be back again
